In 2018, dainox opted for the Bad Wörishofen site. After some important decisions, we were finally able to move into the new headquarters in 2022.
We are now delighted to open a new, high-performance welding room in our production hall. The entire room is equipped with high-quality and specialized Kemppi brand equipment - including the professional welding machines Kempii Master Tig and Kemppi Minarcmig.
In this welding room, we can process aluminum, steel and stainless steel. Both the metal active gas (MAG) process is used to keep oxygen out and the tungsten inert gas (TIG) process, in which a wire is added to join the components. The safety aspects were also taken into account comprehensively. An extraction system ensures controlled and thorough extraction of the resulting fumes and our welders are equipped with personal protective equipment.
Two colleagues who are trained experts in welding are in charge of the new welding room. Our deputy production manager has also undergone intensive training in the latest welding standards. We ensure the high quality of our results and products through continuous checks and the six-monthly renewal of the welder's examination.
Thanks to the new welding room, we are establishing the necessary flexibility and speed of our production through independence from suppliers, especially in times of supply bottlenecks along the entire supply chain. In-house production enables us to build dynamic and adaptable components for our prototypes, which are individually designed according to customer requirements. In particular, the further development of our dainBox product family will benefit greatly from the expansion of our production facilities - our team is already full of ideas!
