CWIX 2023 - Review

Experts from dainox participated this year again in the NATO CWIX (Coalition-Warrior Interoperability Exercise) in Bydgoszcz/Poland.

The aim of CWIX is to test and further develop the interoperability of systems in a multinational environment. The dainox specialists provided support, particularly in the area of PCN (Protected Core Networking). With a MobKommSysBw system network, consisting of BTuLB V3 and the new dainBox SA, a PCS (Protected Core Segment) was set up according to the FMN (Federated Mission Networking) Spiral 4 and Spiral 5 specifications in a network with five other nations and its function was successfully demonstrated in 166 tests.

In addition, the Bundeswehr has once again successfully passed the AV&V (Assurance, Verification and Validation) process for FMN PCN, this time for Spiral 4, with the MobKommSysBw system. The system group consisted not only of several system squads V3 and a management squad, but also of the SDMN (Software-Defined-Mission-Network) 20 foot container of dainox. The SDMN container was used here as a deployable network operation center, system squad and management command post.

Both test setups aroused great interest and were a point of interest for a large number of visitors, numerous military delegations, press and media representatives. CWIX 2023 was thus once again a great success for dainox and the systems it developed: MobKommSysBw, dainBox SA and the SDMN container.
