  • Obsolescence management: Monitoring of 12,000 hardware elements – early detection of obsolescence and search for replacement products
  • License management: Monitoring, procurement, activation, and documentation of licenses from various manufacturers (including Cisco, Fortigate, VMware, Veeam, Microsoft)
  • 3rd-level support: Ensuring operational readiness in the event of a fault through comprehensive technical expertise
  • Project management: Central control of all measures through agile, lean, and efficient project management
  • Training: Training for operating personnel—from basic knowledge to in-depth technical details with practical examples—in our own or customer training rooms

NOC

Network Operations Center

Central monitoring and control of IT services and infrastructures are carried out by first level personnel in a network operations centre (NOC).

In addition to monitoring, the NOC also receive all status messages from operations and the CERT, as well as reporting on SLA compliance and resource utilisation.

dainox supports the technical planning of the NOC infrastructure and operation of the active components as well as the evaluation of CERT messages and optimisation of operational processes.

HARD FACTS

  • Network monitoring and reporting
  • Review of the manufacturer security advisories and CERT messages and derivation of measures
  • Routing, switching, firewall and virtualisation
  • Interface to manufacturers via the dainox support helpdesk

Architecture

Strategy and IT architecture consulting

dainox strategy and IT architecture consulting helps to create and further develop sustainable and durable IT solutions according to the ‘ADMBw’ and NATO architectural framework ‘NAF’ standards.

In addition, dainox is a long-term contributor of in-depth technical expertise to the design, conception and testing of the FMN Spirals Specifications

HARD FACTS

To turn architectures into more than just colourful boxes and make them both profitable and functional, the definition needs to take in account a number of aspects:

  • Operational requirements
  • Functional and non-functional requirements
  • Requirement engineering and management
  • Current technologies
  • Technical standards
  • IT security
  • Deployment scenarios
  • Continued development of specifications, standards and technology
  • Technical feasibility
  • Real tests through evaluation solutions
  • Modelling of e.g. Sparx EA

Studies

Studies | Risk management

When it comes to the implementation, expansion or renewal of large and complex IT infrastructures, there are always costs, function and operability risks.

These risks can be identified and measures defined to reduce them by means of studies and investigations before or at the start of a project. Our lengthy expertise in the fields of IP networks and network-related services, coupled with an optimised and analytical approach that is tailored to operational processes, forms the cornerstone of every risk analysis.

It enables us to prepare the way to successful implementation. both professionally and academically.
